Essential Qualification:
As per the AIIMS Bathinda Recruitment 2024 Notification the essential qualifications for the Post of Senior Residents, Non-Medical Candidates are as Follows:
For Senior Residents:
- A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
- Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- A postgraduate degree i.e., MD/MS/DNB as per MCI rule in the specialty concerned from a recognized University / Institute.
For Non-Medical Candidates:
- Applications are invited in the departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology.
Essential Eligibility Criteria as Per The AIIMS Bathinda Recruitment 2024 Notification are:
- Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized / equivalent) viz. M.Sc. in the concerned discipline/subject.
- Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit
- The Age limit for the senior resident as per the AIIMS Bathinda recruitment 2024 Notification is not more than 45 Years as of 28th August 2024.
- Age relaxation permissible to various categories are:

Fees Details
The Amount of Fee to be paid is as follows:

Salary Details
As Per The Official Notification available on the AIIMS Bathinda Recruitment 2024 website the salary for The Senior Resident: (Pay Level – 11 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Pre-Revised PB – 3, entry pay of ₹67,700/- Per Month + NPA + usual allowances admissible under rules) NPA is applicable for Medical Candidates only.
Process To Apply:
- Download the application form (provided on the Website Annexure Attached)
- Fill out the Google Form on the AIIMS Bathinda Recruitment 2024 Notification notification webpage, without which your application will not be considered.
- The offline filled application form with all relevant documents should be sent to the below-mentioned address through Speed Post/Registered Post by 28 August 2024 by 5.00 PM
- The candidate should mention the transaction number in the space provided in the application form and send the transaction receipt copy with duly typed/filled application form and self-attested certificates in support of educational qualification(s), experience, age/date of birth certificate, No Objection Certificate from the present employer (if employed) through Registered post or Speed post only to the below-mentioned address to reach on or before 28 August 2024 till 5:00 PM “The Recruitment Cell, Administrative Block, Mandi Dabwali Road, AIIMS, Bathinda-151001, Punjab”

Documents To be Produced In Original at Time of Interview:
On the day of the Interview, the candidate is required to be present ‘in person’ with all original certificates and a copy of the transaction receipt at the Venue of the Interview which will be intimated later on the institute website along with one set of self-attested photocopies:
- Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.)
- Address Proof.
- Certificate showing Date of Birth. (Birth Certificate/ Matriculation Certificate).
- Four recent passport-size photographs.
- Class 10th & 12th Marksheet and Certificates.
Essential Qualification degree
- MBBS Marksheet and degree certificates.
- MD/DNB/MS degree certificate.
- DM/M.Ch/DNB degree certificates.
- M.Sc Marksheet and degree certificates.
- PhD degree certificates.
- Attempt and Internship Certificate.
- Registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
- Experience Certificate.
- FMGE certificate conducted by NBE (For foreign graduates).
- Candidates working in Government Institutions- No Objection Certificate.
- (p) Publications.

What is the Selection Procedure for the Post of Senior Resident at AIIMS Bathinda
Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list candidates for
interview or they may be asked to appear in a written examination in case of a large number of applicants. Candidates called for an interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application form at the time of the interview.
Selection will be made on the basis of an interview/ written examination. Short-listing candidates for interview/ written examination will be done on the basis of educational
qualification, experience, etc., and /or as per the short-listing criteria as may be decided by the Competent Authority. In case, a large number of applications are received for the Senior Resident post, a Screening Test may be conducted for short-listing candidates for which the Syllabus, Scheme, and the method of Screening Test (Computer Test or Offline Page 6 of 7 Test) shall be notified in due course on the website of AIIMS, Bathinda. The decision of Executive Director, AIIMS, Bathinda in this regard will be final and binding.
