The Age limit details for the SSC Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2024 are as follows: –
- The important date for determining the age eligibility is set as 01/08/2024 following the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7/70/87-Estt. (RR) dated 14/07/1988.
- The age limits for the posts are 18 to 30 years as of 01/08/2024, i.e. candidates who are not born before 02/08/1994 and not later than 01/08/2006 are eligible to apply.
- The Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit and category codes for claiming age relaxation are as follows:

Education Qualification:
Education Qualification for the Position of Junior Hindi Translator/ Junior Translator Officer/ Junior Translator are as below:
Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a
examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of
examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level
and
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two year’s experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Selection Process:
As per the official notification the selection process for SSC Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2024 will be as follows:
- There will be a Part I Exam which will be an Objective Type exam which will be a computer-based Mode.
- Then Part II of the Exam will be a descriptive exam which will have a Translation and Essay
- After that, there will be Document verification.
- Post all of these a Final merit list will be made.
