The National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development (NABARD) on 2nd October 2024 has announced the recruitment of 108 Office Attendants in Group C in the Subordinate Service. for 2024. Interested Candidates can Apply from 02nd October 2024 and 21st October 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidate should have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) froma recognized board
  • The Candidate should be a domicile of the State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Regional Office to which he/she is applying.
  • The candidate should be an undergraduate as of 01.10.2024. Candidates possessing Graduation and higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
  • A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category should at least have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defense service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces.

Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹17270/ p.m. on a scale of ₹17270-590(4)-19630-690(3)-21700-840(3)-24220-1125(2)-26470-1400(4)-32070- 1900(3)-37770 (20 Years) applicable to Office Attendants in Group ‘C’ and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately ₹ 35,000/-

Selection Procedure

The Selection of the candidates will be done based on the Online Test and The Language Proficiency Test (LPT):

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

All the Selected /Waitlist candidates would be required to undergo the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT will be conducted in the official language of the State concerned / the State for which the candidate has applied in the online application form. The LPT will be qualifying in nature. Candidates not qualifying/ passing the (LPT), would be disqualified. The details of the LPT to be conducted will be available on the NABARD website after the declaration of the Online Examination Result.

  • For Every Wrong Answer, a 1/4th mark will be deducted as a penalty in the Exam.
  • LPT is mandatory. No exemption of any sort will be given to any candidate from appearing in LPT, which will be conducted at respective offices.
  • Candidates applying for posts in a particular State should be proficient in the official language of the State (i.e. should be able to read, write, speak, and understand the language
  • Cut-offs may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score

Following is the application process to apply online:

  • Candidates to visit the Bank’s website www.nabard.org click on the careers notices page and then click on Recruitment to the post of Office Attendant – 2024.
  • Then Candidates need to click on “Apply Here”.
  • To register applications, choose the “Click here for New Registration” tab and enter your Name, contact details, and e-mail ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note the provisional registration number and password.
  • An e-mail & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
  • Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ buttons.
  • Candidates can proceed to upload their Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.
  • Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before Submitting the Application.
  • Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed with online payment.
  • The process of Registration is complete only when the fee is deposited with the Bank Online mode on or before the last date for payment of the fee.

-> The staff attending to such officers will also discharge the duties of carrying files, papers, etc., removing from and keeping them in the cupboards in respect of such Officers and carrying cases from such Officers to their Departments / Sections, etc.
-> Supply of water and beverages and serving of tea, food, etc. to such Officers and attend to all incidental and / or related work.
->The duties / work of Office Attendant / Senior Office Attendant / Special Office Attendant / Senior Special Office Attendant are inter-changeable.
