- Those candidates who will successfully apply for the post will have to undergo a Written Objective Exam (Multiple Choice Questions).
- The Exam will be divided into two parts (Part A & Part B). Part A will consist of a Punjabi Exam at the 8th-grade level, which will be qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score a minimum of 50% in this exam.
- The Merit list of the candidates will be created based on the number scored in Part B of the exam only.
