Essential Qualification
Sub-Divisional Officer (Punjab State Warehouse Corporation, Chandigarh
- Graduate in Civil Engineering in 1st or 2nd Class from a recognized University or Institution or AMIE (Civil Engineering) with experience for a minimum period of two years as SDO or five years as a Section Officer in Central Government or a State Government or Government Institution;
OR - Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with experience for a minimum period of seven years as a Section Officer in the Central Government, State Government, or Government Institution.
Junior Auditor (Finance Department, Treasury, and Accounts branch, Vit Te Yojana Bhawan, Plot No 2-B, Sector 33 A, Chandigarh)
- As per the Rules of 1998 B.Com 1st Division or M.Com 2nd Division.
- As per the Rules of 1979 Should have a speed of thirty words per minute in typewriting in English.
Executive Assistant (Labour Department, Punjab Labour Commissioner Office Punjab. Model Welfare Center, Phase-10, Sector -64, S.A.S Nagar )
- Should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution;
- Qualifies a competitive test specified by the appointing authority from time to time;
- Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours of course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognised institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified.
OR
Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to the ‘O’ Level certificate of the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of the Government of India. - The person so appointed as Executive Assistant shall have, before his appointment, passed a test in English and Punjabi (In Unicode Compliant Font Raavi ) respectively, on the computer to be conducted by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology as the case may be, at a speed of thirty words per minute.
Provided that where appointment of Group ‘B’ non-technical post is offered to a War Hero, who has been discharged from Defence Services or a dependent member of his family under the instructions issued on this behalf by the Government, the educational qualification to be possessed by such person shall be Graduate from a recognized university or institution, However, such person shall not be required, to qualify the test in Punjabi-writing as provided above.
Statistical Officer (Labour Department, Punjab Labour Commissioner Office Punjab. Model Welfare Center, Phase-10, Sector -64, S.A.S Nagar)
- Master’s Degree in Economics or Mathematics or Commerce with Statistics as one of the papers
OR - Master’s Degree in Statistics from a recognized university or institution
Assistant Manager (I.T.) (Labour Department, Punjab Labour Commissioner Office Punjab. Model Welfare Center, Phase-10, Sector -64, S.A.S Nagar)
- Should have passed a degree of Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology or Electronics and Communication or Master of Business Computer Science Master of Administration from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of fifty percent marks in aggregate in each case; or Should have passed Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or Masters of Business administration from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of fifty percent marks in aggregate in each case and an experience of two years in the field of Information and Communication Technology.

- Should possess a graduation degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Social Science with Statistics as one of the papers/subjects from a recognized university or institution

- Graduate of recognised University; preference to be given to Commerce Graduates

Upper Age Limit
Age limit of candidates for the above posts Punjab Government instructions The corresponding date should be 01.01.2024 as follows:-
- The minimum age of all candidates should be 18 Years.
- For General Category Candidates the upper age should not be more than 37 Years.
- Maximum Age of Candidates Resident of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab State The upper age limit will be 42 years.
- The upper age limit for State and Central government employees will be 45 Years.
- A relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit for disabled candidates resident of Punjab The maximum age limit given will be 47 years.
- The upper age limit for widows, divorcees, and certain other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab vide Letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 Dated 23/04/1984 will be relaxed up to 40 years.

Selection And Examination Process
Selection Process for the Positions of Sub-Divisional Officer, Statistical Officer, Assistant Manager (I.T.), Field Investigator, Treasury Officer, Section Officer (Civil), Section Officer (Electricity) :
- Objective Type (Mulitple Choice Questions)
- Interview / Counselling.
Selection Process for the Positions of Junior Auditor and Executive Assistant:
- Objective Type (Mulitple Choice Questions)
- English Typing Test (30 words per minute) for Junior Auditor and For Executive Assitant there will be Both English and Punjabi typing tests.
- Interview / Counselling.

- Then candidates can submit their application through the Punjab Sweadar Chowkidar Recruitment 2024 link available under the Online Application tab on the Punjab Subordinate Services website from 21 August 2024 to 17 September 2024.
- After this, the candidates will have to click on the Apply online link.
