RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2024 Notification
The Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) released the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2024. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will fill 3445 vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate Posts through this recruitment drive. The posts are Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist, and Trains Clerk in Various Zonal Railways and Production units of Indian Railways.

Candidates can modify the application particulars except for three parameters i.e.:
- Chosen RRB
- Email ID and
- Mobile Number, even after application submission, but within the last date of application submission, by paying a modification fee. However, after the last date for application submission (20/10/2024), RRBs shall not entertain any representation for modification of the information furnished in the application.

Selection Process:
Following will be the selection process for all the posts:
- 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT) / Typing Skills Test (TST).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
The Computer Based Aptitude Test or Typing Skill Test for the posts will be as follows:
- Computer-based Aptitude Test for Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist.
- Typing Skill Test for Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist
Negative Marking
There will be negative markings for wrong answers in the Computer Based Test (CBTs). For Every incorrect answer 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that question shall be deducted.
Medical Standard
Candidates called for document verification will have to pass the medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that they are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s)
opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria for the medical fitness of railway staff. The medical standards are outlined below:

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT) will be conducted after qualifying for the 2nd Stage CBT (Only for candidates who have opted for Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist).
Typing Skill Test (TST)
For the posts of Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist. A typing Skill Test (TST) of a qualifying nature (marks obtained in a typing skill test shall not be added for making merit) shall be conducted for which the number of candidates equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community shall be called for.
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a personal computer without editing tools and a spell check facility.
For guidelines of those who appear for the typing skill test in Hindi, Kruti Dev, and Mangal font shall be made available for the typing skill test on Personal Computer.
Exemption in Typing Skill Test may be extended to candidates who are permanently disabled due to Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy & Loco Motor Disability with not less than 40% permanent disability. Such eligible PwBD candidates have to upload a scanned copy of the Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate issued by the Competent Medical Board on the website of respective RRBs before conducting of typing skill test.

Based on the performance of candidates in the examination candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.

How To Apply:
- Candidates first need to visit the official Central Website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) (https://www.rrbapply.gov.in).
- Click on the Apply: (Create an Account / and already have an Account). During the ONLINE APPLICATION, candidates will be asked to ‘Create Account’. If a candidate has already created an Account for CENs notified in 2024, they should use the same account credentials to log in and apply for this CEN as well.
- If the candidates have not created an Account earlier, they must first ‘Create an Account’ before proceeding to fill up the application for this CEN. Candidates are advised to fill in the details required for account creation with the utmost care, as they will be not able to make any corrections once the account is created. Details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including mobile number and Email ID) can not be modified at any stage once the account is created.
- Candidates need to enter all the necessary details as mentioned on the Registration Page.
- After you submit the primary details you will receive an OTP on both your email and Mobile. You are required to verify your mobile number and Email through the One Time Password (OTP).
- Once OTP’s are verified a Registration number will be generated and will be sent of Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on the “Candidate Login” button on the Home Page using the Registration Number and password.
- Fill up all the required details on the application.
- Upload your Latest Photograph and Signature.
- On completion of the application details as above, the candidate will be directed to the payment page to choose payment mode i.e. Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and complete the payment process.
