Pay Scale
As per the UPSC Cabin Safety Inspector Recruitment 2024, notification the pay scale for this post will be level 11 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Comission (CPC).

Essential Qualification
Education
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 from the recognised board.
Experience
10 Years of work experience as a Cabin Crew and currently working as a Cabin Crew.
Desirable Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or institute.
- At least one year experience as Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Safety and Emergency Procedure (SEP) Instructor.

Duties
- To carry out functions assigned in accordance with CAP 3100 for certification of an Air Operator.
- To carry out related functions for continuous management of the AOP for the assigned Air Operator(s).
- To carry out surveillance of assigned Air Operator as per the laid down surveillance plan.
- Any other work assigned by the Director General/ JDG/ CFOI.

The Persons selected will be appointed on probation as per the rule.
Post Type:
The Post is permanent. It will be General Central Service Group – “A” Gazetted Non-Ministerial
Head Quarters:
Directorate General of Civil Aviation, opp. Safdarjung Airport, Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi with
All India Service Liability.
Other Conditions:
- To be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) w.e.f. 01.01.2004.
- Training: The newly inducted officers shall be provided induction training for a period of a minimum of two weeks to enable officers to get a general understanding of the organisation, its vision, and mission and acquire the necessary competency required for performing their job. After completion of initial induction training, the newly inducted officers will be provided on-the-job training to enable them to handle their responsibilities independently.
